Fun ideas with Applesauce;)

So I am about moved in to our new home and can get back to the normal flow of things. So I missed all the in between gardening of beets, green beans, swiss chard, etc... it got all left at our old home. But upon moving, people out here have connections with other people. So I got me two boxes of peaches and I am bottling and making freezer jam. I make my syrup for bottling peaches or other fruits with 1/4 cup of honey in 8 cups of water, instead of a ton of sugar.

Soon I will get apple's and here is some fun creative things you can do with your applesauce. When cooking you apples, you can throw in some skinned peaches and then blend them together. Or after they are done cooking you can throw in any kind of berrie ( they are soft enough they don't have to be cooked.) I have done raspberry, huckleberry, you name it. You can also flavor applesauce with a little cinnamon. I mostly leave my applesauce unsweetened but if the apples are too tart I stir in a little honey. Hopefully that gives you some fresh ideas!
